As everybody knows, I started my work at Berjaya Times Square Hotel at KL as a Sales Coordinator.

This is my nametag, way different from Club Med's. I have no country flags on this nametag to show to the guest what language I can speak. In fact, all my colleagues except my Director of Sales which is Italian is Malaysia. We only use English, Malay and Cantonese at the workplace anyway. I'll take the picture of my desk when I'm free, because I'm getting busy. My new job is way different. At first I thought, wow, glamorous. Because when Reservation Department's staff gets promoted, they need to take a vow to treat the Sales & Marketing staff better. Then again, which is what they supposed to do, like what my room mate Joey says, "If not for us the S&M Team to get the business for the hotel you think those other departments will get their salary every month? All thanks to us!". LOL. Mean, but true. My job is basically to call the clients, prepare the contracts or proposals, amend the rates and update all the contract infos in the Fidelio Opera system, thank god I have a 2 years of experience in using Fidelio Opera. The works is not to say tough but stressful, because you need to do it ACCURATELY and FAST. Any minute late and other hotel might get the business deal. Competition between the hotels in KL is sooo stiff considering there's many 5 star hotel in KL. And not to long ago Berjaya Times Square hotel got their 5 Star status back. Then it's easier for me. I have my own desk, own desktop with internet!! (I'm not supposed to have internet on my desktop oh well :P) and soon I'm getting my own business card. Also I get to carry and use my handphone anywhere in the hotel whenever I want and I don't have to hide them like in Club Med because I'm a part of the Management staff, how cool is that!! Except the not cool thing is your manager can reach you at any time of the day =.=! Oh well, I have very nice colleagues here as well, and I work 5 days a week and alternate Saturdays!! Also I don't have to work on public holidays! Pay's better than Club Med! Supposed to be from 8.30-5.30 but normally i stay till around 7-8 to finish up my paperworks. Then I eat dinner and walk around at the shopping mall downstairs to kill the time because 7-8 is traffic jam, peak hours, and considering me and Joey both is too lazy to get stuck at the jam both of us always linger around till around 9-10 pm and get back to go mamak or go back straight! Anyway, it's pretty nice overall. I'm starting to get used to the systems etc! Oh ya one more thing, I absofuckingly hate my new heels. It hurts so fucking much I'm gonna buy myself a new pair of black heels I don't care, because I need to walk alot, like my manager Sam says, get yourself a pair of comfy shoes. Sigh. I'm gonna buy them today. Anyway, to those whom don't know Berjaya Times Square here's a few pics of the hotel.

That's all for now~!! I go back to Klang every weekeed for the sake of my baby! So you guys can still ask me out to yumcha etc!
